NSA Summer Hockey Off Season! Our best off-season program yet. With new coaches (and the old ones), therapists and cutting-edge sport science to help our athletes reach their goals this upcoming season. Our Summer Off-Season Training session starts on Monday June 20 and continues until August 19. This will be extended past August 19 for those still in town hoping to continue training.

OPEN TO ALL ATHLETES OFF SEASON PROGRAMS
Swimming Strength &Conditioning: Monday and Wednesdays at 3:30pm
Speed and Conditioning for all athletes: Tuesday and Thursday 2:30pm FH Collins (this includes the hockey session that is already running)
Vertical Power (Volleyball and Basketball)- now has 4 sessions: Monday and Wednesday at 3:30pm Tuesdays 4:30pm Thursdays 6:30pm
Soccer Strength & Conditioning: Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00pm Mondays and Wednesdays 6:45pm
Cross Country Skiing Strength &Conditioning: Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30am

Run Faster & Fly higher with us at NSA this summer! This session is for any athlete looking to improve their strength, power, speed, agility, coordination and condition with the support of highly qualified NSA coaches. You will learn to lift with proper technique for sport performance. Improve your movement to move more efficiently and increase your durability. This sessions is for any athlete 13-20yrs old in any sport. Speed Kills. If you are a sprinter or team sport athlete, you need to run like a sprinter. Kiki Vidal is an experienced sprinter and sprint coach at the international, national and Collegiate levels. A two time Canadian representative at the Penn Relays, Kiki will team up with our running specialist Ian Weir to teach you: Sprint Mechanics Acceleration training Top-end speed training You can expect to get faster, and learn how to launch your journey toward elite speed development. *This session is not change of direction, agility or conditioning. It is purely speed training*

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS CLASS
Open Class Starting Monday April 25. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30pm with Ben McPherson. Additional Early bird Wednesday class runs at 6:30am with Jeremy McCulloch. You don't have to be an expert in the gym to train 'functionally' Functional fitness means training to be stronger, injury resistant and more energetic in your daily adventures. Limited experience? No problem. While some of these movements will be new, they won't be too complex to pick up. NSA is a welcoming environment where we all strive to get fit and have fun doing it. Learn, train, laugh and take your fitness to the next level!
Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:00pm NSA Running Academy is back! With 4x Reckless Raven Winner Ian Weir. Join our supportive running community and hone your technique, speed and pace with the Yukon's top endurance coach. Inclusive for all levels.
Open Gym at NSA, Tuesday and Thursdays mornings at 7-8am. Want to train at NSA, but don't want to pay for a coach? If you have some gym experience and want to use our Strength & Conditioning Facility (not your average public gym), this open session is for you. For each of these sessions, a training program from a CSCS coach is provided, and your space is guaranteed- no need to fight for a squat rack and open space- we've got you covered. Want to run your own workout instead of ours? No problem

NSA Strength for Runners is coached by 4x Reckless Raven Winner Ian Weir! Improve your technique, lower your times, and understand the sport of running on a deeper level, as it applies to your goals.
This class offers strength, power and mobility training in the planes of movement pertinent to you as a runner.

With our Gym Buds Class we try to create a fun, positive, accepting environment where everyone can feel inspired to achieve their goals. The Gym buds started as a group of friends who wanted to support each other in their health, wellness and performance. We thought they hit the nail on the head and want to expand the gym bud philosophy to our entire community :)
This class consists of dynamic, functional, but progressive movements that will improve your strength, balance and mobility for the weekend warrior, athlete (competitive or recreational), and in whatever you choose to do!
Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12:00pm-12:55pm
At NSA, we prioritize quality movement before quantity. Don't worry- you will get plenty strong and fit in this class. But you can be assured that your coach will ensure you are moving well and reducing injury risks first.
This class consists of dynamic, functional, but progressive movements that will improve your strength, balance and mobility for the weekend warrior, athlete (competitive or recreational), and in whatever you choose to do!
