Hockey Strength & Conditioning
Stay strong and explosive all season—without extra fatigue. Led by Ben McPherson (CSCS; MSc S&C), this small-group program focuses on maintaining power, strength, and resilience during the season through concise, targeted sessions.

Volleyball Strength & Conditioning
Northern Strength Academy is offering cutting-edge Strength & Conditioning for Yukon Volleyball players. Backed by NSA’s Sport Science team, this program analyzes the energy systems and movement patterns specific to volleyball. Training is designed to help athletes peak at key points in the season, with a focus on agility, change of direction, vertical jump power, coordination, and conditioning. Sessions run Sundays at Northern Strength Academy.

Strength for Endurance
For all levels of runner looking to join a supportive community, improve technique, increase speed, and reach your specific goals. Train with Yukon’s top endurance coach, Ian Weir.
This class offers strength, power and mobility training in the planes of movement pertinent to you as a runner.

Lifting for Longevity
Specifically designed for the retired population, but open to anyone! Developed to make the most of your golden years, our program focuses on improving strength, performance, mobility, breath work, aims to build bone density and avoid injury to enhance your overall fitness and well-being.
This class offers specific techniques by utilizing barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells and other equipment to help reach your goals.
