Ben McPherson
A former university football player and Sport Studies graduate from Bishop’s University, Ben completed his master’s degree at Edith Cowan University, recognized globally as the top strength & conditioning program. His applied work spans pro and junior hockey-where he has built custom strength & conditioning tools for NHL and CHL teams-and on-ice performance coaching for elite athletes, including NHL forward Dylan Cozens and Gavin McKenna.
Ben’s earlier professional experience includes a role as a Strength & Conditioning Assistant with the Ottawa Redblacks. He blends evidence-based methods with practical coaching to help athletes develop strength, power, and durability that transfer directly to game performance.
Jeremy McCullough
Jeremy was an all Canadian and National Player of the year during his high school basketball Career. During that time he was also drafted by the WHL’s Calgary Hitmen.
After high school Jeremy received a full NCAA division 1 athletic scholarship to Eastern Washington University to play basketball. Jeremy continued his basketball career and play professionally for 8 season in Europe, Asia and North America.
Jeremy Retired from basketball in 2013 and moved to the Yukon and began work for the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation. During his time in Old Crow, Jeremy gained a better understanding of the North and our Yukon communities. After spending 3 years in Old Crow Jeremy accepted a position with Sport Yukon as the Yukon Physical Literacy Coordinator. This position travelled to all Yukon communities to promote active living, sport, and implement the Yukon Physical literacy Curriculum.
Jeremy then made the transition into strength and conditioning coaching and passed his CSCS exam in 2018 to join Ben Mcpherson as the co-founder of Northern Strength Academy where he has been coaching and mentoring Yukon Athletes.

Cora Partriarca
Cora studied and got her qualifications in Sydney, Australia. In Australia Cora worked as a speed and agility coach with high level coaches while training A league teams and athletes from a variety of sports including rugby, AFL and soccer.
Leon Bailey
Leon is a lifelong martial artist turned strength coach, competing nationally in Judo and BJJ. With global coaching experience, he specializes in strength, power, mobility, and injury rehab-helping athletes and beginners alike reach elite performance levels.
Brayden Posyluzny
Brayden holds a BSc in Kinesiology (with Distinction) from the University of Lethbridge and earned his NSCA-CSCS in 2022. A former decathlete and 2x Academic All-Canadian, he now competes in Skeleton with the Snipers Club and is passionate about helping others reach their strength goals.
Kiki Vidal
Kiki, a former national-level track athlete from Quebec, studied Kinesiology at the University of Sherbrooke. A kinesiologist and kinesiotherapist, she specializes in therapeutic exercise, sport massage, Olympic lifting, and gait analysis to help clients move and perform better.
Ian Weir
Ian is a 4× Reckless Raven winner and former varsity athlete in Nordic Skiing, Cross Country, and Water Polo. An elite ultra runner and multi-sport competitor, he now coaches endurance athletes through running and strength programs at NSA, primarily online.

Adrienne Marsh
Adrienne is a certified Schwinn and ACE Group Fitness Instructor with 15+ years in recreation. A former varsity soccer player, she brings energy and expertise to every ride-mixing strength, endurance, and great music to leave you feeling motivated, challenged, and inspired.
